Hotel Medi - Ikast

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Ikast. the location was fantastic, with easy access to the train station and a grocery store nearby. It was situated in a peaceful residential area, which made for a quiet and relaxing stay. Additionally, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my time there. The rooms were equipped with all the basic amenities I needed, ensuring a comfortable stay. Finally, the breakfast offered had a good variety, with fresh bread and fruits available.

My experience at this hotel was great.

Especially cleaning wa snot good enough.My room was dusty and the bathromm not nice cleaned .

no complaints with the hotel. placed within 50 minutes' car ride to bjerregard.

I had a nice stay at this hotel while visiting the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with basic amenities that served my needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location in a residential area was convenient, with a grocery store nearby and easy access to the train station.

Getting a little 'tired'. Carpets need to be replaced and the receiption might be a little more 'sexier'.

The wireless internet is very slow, there is no fridge in the room - the 'mini bar' consists of a tray with warm drinks. There is no phone in the room and the room was very cold (no heating on) when I arrived.

This hotel is located in a nice residential area, close to both the train station and a grocery store. the nearby library provided exceptional assistance. the clean rooms offer fast WiFi and comfortable beds. the breakfast buffet is good and the restaurant offers plentiful food and great service.

One aspect that could be improved is the staffing during dinner service.

Hotel Medi has a nice and central location in the town of Ikast. The hotels restaurant gives good value for money - Good food at reasonable prices. The waitresses were very pleasant and effective. On Saturday they were inadequately staffed, with just one waitress to man the bar, a fully booked restaurant, and the reception. However, the waitress did a phenomenal job. She ran around giving service to all in such a way that I was affraid she would suffer from a heart-attack during the night.

The rooms are in need of some serious attention. They were old and run down - E.G. the sofa and chair were full of stains, and the carpet had a look to it that made me not wanting to take off my shoes. The receptionist said it was no problem to bring dogs to the room, however she did not inform about the 150DKR-per-dog-per-night-fee before I was to settle my bill, which resultet in an unpleasent surprise at check- out. Also, despite several vacant rooms, I was given a room directly over the restaurant, were they on Fridays had live music with a performer that would not even have made it through the first round of American Idol. Worth to mention, to give an example of the service level, were some issues some of my fiends had with the staff in regards to their rigid and monochronic opening ours at breakfast. Several of the guests the weekend I stayed at the hotel had to leave early, before breakfast was officially served. However, despite the breakfast buffet was already put out, the staff refused my friends to eat breakfast, or to at least have a cup of coffee. Thankfully, after complaining, we were allowed breakfast the following morning. Given the poor value of money I would not recomend nor discourage a stay at the Hotel Medi, but mention it as an option to people travelling in the area.

Breakfast was underwhelming with limited options. the staff seemed understaffed and overworked, with slow service at the bar and the front desk.

Great staff and delicious food! , the fast and free WiFi throughout the hotel was a plus. The outside dining area was lovely, and the location was convenient for exploring nearby cities.

The room was showing signs of wear and tear, which took away from the overall experience. the lack of air conditioning made staying in the room during warmer weather quite uncomfortable.

Great central location for exploring the area. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Good transportation links to nearby attractions.
